I’ve just realized how long it has been since I have written down something here! I must admit that I’ve been pretty busy since then.

One of the events that took a lot of time & energy was the organization of the 2008 Bamberger ToST. I assume you already know what ToST means as my colleagues have already talked about it in detail in their previous Blogs. Long story short, the main subject was a product called “Aktor” which can be used both in Diesel and Gasoline injectors at Bosch. The 25 participants had the opportunity to meet the Bamberg plant managers, get detailed information about the production of this product, as well as learning its function in the injector.

Concerning the 2 projects that I am responsible for; as you might remember from my previous Blog, I had explained how I had received a fairly negative feedback from one of the top managers. Since then, I took most of my time to reorganize the whole project by using the help of the project management office. I must admit that I am now much more confident about how the project runs with a structured organization and a standardized documentation.

This is once again one of the big advantages to be part of a big and well established company. Dealing with new projects is a routine for such a big corporation and when needed it is far from being complicated to find qualified people who are there to support you.

    Hey Kevin.
Where are you from and where are you working now?
I am hoping to do another Mech. Eng. Internship in Germany. I did an internship with ZF-Lenksysteme in Winter 2007.

Do you know of a contact person i can talk to about an internship opportunity?

    Hello Thomas,

Sorry for the late answer. Things here are fairly busy these days…
I am half turkish half french. (you can read a little more details in my first posting). I am currently in Bamberg and working in the production department as a project leader.

Unfortunately, i cannot give you a contact person but if you haven’t tried yet, i would advise you to go to the bosch careers website and post your resume for an internship position. I know that the resumes submitted through the website are quickly checked and considered.

You should maybe consider getting a little information about bosch products since there is such a great variety… Are you more into car parts, powertools or house supplies?

    Merhaba Ersin,
It will be a little bit hard for me to answer this question as i did not really do the standard interview. My ”case interview” was replaced by an internship. But during my internship/trainee interview, i had a case in which i had to play the role of a manager facing diffuculties with a foreign manager… I dont know if this is representative of a normal Trainee interview! Maybe my colleagues can help you better??
