My last days in the production

It has been now about 7 months since I’ve been in the production department and the end is approaching at a fast pace. I now have to wrap up my work and finish as much as possible before I leave. The production line that I have been managing has been brought to the work floor and the first trials have started. Even if all the trials will not be finished before I leave, the hardest part is now accomplished which gives a certain degree of satisfaction.
Even though China is currently not giving any visas, I have started weekly meetings with responsible people from China in order to get some initial information about my future project. I will wait a few more weeks to see if China changes its visa politics and if needed, I will need to find an alternative project/country. But before that, I will be working 1 month in the controlling department and 2 months in the logistics department here in Bamberg, which I am looking forward to.
