Last Station before China

It has only been about 1 week since I know that I will be going to china for my abroad station. The possibilities were either India or China and it took about 2 months to achieve a final decision. My boss convinced me to choose China but it wasn’t only a matter of his decision. China has strengthened the visa regulations about 3 months ago because of the Olympic Games and political reasons. After several e-mail and telephone calls between Stuttgart, China and Bamberg, a solution has been found.
I have started taking Chinese lessons, which is definitely challenging, and I have slowly started making a list of all the things that I need to take care of before my leave. Finishing the visa application, emptying the apartment, finding a storage place, deregistration from the city hall and closing my phone account are only a few of them.
On the other hand, I have started a new station at the logistic department since the beginning of this month. I am currently taking care of the orders and shipments of all injector single parts that Bamberg receives and sends all over the world. The challenging part is to be in constant communication with production and delivery representatives in order to be able to achieve a 100% costumer satisfaction in our deliverance.
