Back in Germany

After spending almost 4 months in China I am now back in Germany spending my last 2 months as a trainee. My experience in China was far beyond my expectations. In a positive way of course… The factory in China (RBCD) is brand new (founded in 2004) and since then Bosch has been investing heavily in order to capture the Chinese market. The combination of very experienced managers and engineers coming from different countries and the young motivated Chinese employees create a very pleasant and dynamic working environment. On the other side China is an incredible country. With its history dating back to thousands of years, one can explore beautiful natural resorts as well as some of the most developed and industrialized cities in the world.
I am currently in Stuttgart Feuerbach working at the C/MPE department which is responsible for worldwide projects for manufacturing and logistic planning. A new production line will be installed in China and my assignment is to compare similar production lines which already exist in different Bosch factories in order to be able to prepare a list of equipment which will be ordered for China. For this reason I will be travelling to Bamberg in Germany as well as to Bursa in Turkey the coming 4 weeks.
As I have been travelling a considerable amount lately I do not have an apartment. My car and a big luggage is all I have these days…
