After returning from China, I started working at a central department in Stuttgart that takes care of worldwide manufacturing projects for all types of Bosch products. Working in such a department requires lots of travelling and interaction with international people. Although the department has about 60 employees the average number of employees physically sitting in the office is rarely more than 30.

During my time here, I supported a project that is currently running for China. China will start manufacturing a product that is already being produced in Germany and Turkey and my assignment was to support china with some information that they will need in order to start the production in 2010. So I spent most of my time in Bamberg (Germany) and Bursa (Turkey) to collect and transfer the necessary information.

My trainee experience comes to an end this Friday. Before I start working as a production planner in Bamberg, I will take some holidays remaining from 2008.

All in all, I must say that my first 2 years at Bosch as a trainee were very satisfying. I got to know the company by working in several departments with different managers and employees mainly in Germany and had this great experience in China which was the highlight of my program. I am now ready to start my new job with a little bit more of stability and see how my career develops in the coming years.
