This is the first time that I am writing in this blog. I would like to use this occasion to present myself and to explain why I am at Bosch.
I am from Spain as you maybe discovered by reading my name. Before coming to Germany, I studied engineering and received a double degree from both, the university in Barcelona and Paris (for those who know: the UPC in Spain and ECP in France). Afterwards, I decided to go to Stuttgart to carry out my master thesis and to learn some German.
Being a “Diplomingenieur”, I decided to stay in Germany since this country offers a lot of exciting opportunities in this field. I started to work for an American company in Stuttgart. At that time, I realized that I was more and more interested in not only understanding technical issues but also economical and strategical aspects. That is why I began, beside my job, a Bachelor of Business Administration at a distance university (that I am still doing).
Looking for new opportunities, I applied for the JMP at Bosch. Why did I exactly apply for this programme? I wanted a further and deeper development of my skills, facets that this company and especially the JMP offers. Furthermore, it was really important for me to learn novel technologies that move the world. In addition, the programme offers the possibility to work in an international environment combined with a wide perspective about how the company is organized.
After 4 interviews, I started at Bosch this year in May and that means that I have already finished my first station. The next time, I will explain what I was doing during my first period at Bosch.
